The working principle of current transformer and the transformer is the same. Both work with the principle of the magnetic effect of current. The role of the transformer is to convert one level of voltage into another level of the same frequency voltage. The role of power transformers is basically the same as that of voltage transformers. The difference is that current transformers convert a large current in the electrical system into a standard 5 A or 1 A. Supply the relay to detect the current coil of the instrument.
