Research and Development of DC Immune Low Voltage Current Transformer
Traditional low-voltage current transformers are made of toroidal cores, and the main raw material is ultra-fine crystalline ribbon material. The existence of a DC component in the primary current will not affect its saturation coefficient. Compared with ultra-microcrystalline magnetic cores, the magnetic permeability of iron-based amorphous materials is slightly inferior, but they are widely used in power transformers due to their low iron loss, especially as magnetic cores.
Experiments show that the initial permeability and low coercivity of the iron-based amorphous magnetic core are very strong, and its working curve is not affected by the DC component. Simply speaking, its ability to resist the DC component is quite strong. In addition, the radio wave output from the secondary winding can be used to restore the primary current waveform. In order to form a composite magnetic core, the magnetic properties of iron-based amorphous and nanocrystalline must be applied, and the complementary properties of the two must be used to fuse them together.
The low-voltage DC Immune low-voltage current transformer can effectively improve the inaccurate calculation of traditional low-voltage DC Immune current transformers.
