The existing DC Immune current transformers on the market mainly improve the saturation magnetic induction intensity of the iron core by optimizing the iron core material. For example, the US patent application discloses a transformer core made of iron-based amorphous alloy, and its saturation magnetic induction intensity can reach more than 1.5T; the Chinese patent discloses a magnetic core made of a high magnetic permeability alloy and an anti-saturation alloy. The double magnetic core composed of magnetic cores combines the characteristics of high magnetic permeability alloy and anti-saturation alloy, and at the same time achieves high saturation magnetic induction intensity, high magnetic permeability and low iron loss.

The above improvements are all made for the iron core material, but it is rare to improve the performance of the current transformer from the perspective of the iron core structure; and the above improvement method is relatively easy to implement for closed transformers, but due to the difficulty of the process, for open type transformers. The combined current transformer is difficult to sample and optimize the core material to obtain better DC Immune characteristics and measurement accuracy.
