The zero-sequence transformer mainly has the following applications:
- The outlet of the low-voltage side of the transformer of the low-voltage 400V system.
- Part of the feeder and motor circuit of the low-voltage 400V system.
- Cable outlet of medium voltage ungrounded system or small resistance grounded system.
- High-voltage direct grounding system transformer high-voltage neutral point bushing and neutral point grounding device.
- The main functions of various forms of zero-sequence transformers:
- The zero-sequence current transformer on the low-voltage side of the low-voltage 400V system transformer has two main functions: First, the operator detects the unbalanced current of the transformer during normal operation, which is convenient for operation adjustment. The second is to connect the zero-sequence current to the protection device of the low-voltage transformer, which is used for zero-sequence current protection on the low-voltage side of the transformer as a backup protection for the low-voltage busbar and feeder.
- The zero-sequence current transformers of some feeders and motor circuits of the low-voltage 400V system are mainly used to connect the zero-sequence current to the protection device for single-phase grounding zero-sequence current protection. It avoids the situation that the overcurrent protection of the loop makes the protection leapfrog action when the single-phase grounding short circuit does not meet the requirements of sensitivity.
- The role of the zero-sequence current transformer in the medium voltage system is mainly divided into two types: the zero-sequence current transformer of the small-current grounding system is mainly used to collect the change of the zero-sequence current of the loop when the system is single-phase grounded, and is mostly used for the grounding fault line selection device ; The secondary current access protection device of the zero-sequence current transformer of the small resistance grounding system is used for single-phase grounding current protection. Protection acts on tripping.
- The neutral point zero-sequence current transformer of the high-voltage direct grounding system is mainly used for the zero-sequence current protection of the high-voltage side of the transformer; the zero-sequence current transformer of the transformer neutral point grounding device is mainly used for the gap zero-sequence current protection.
